Getting Started with Mining

  1. Extract & Prepare:

    • Unzip the miner software package to a convenient location.
    • Open the folder containing the miner files.
  2. Create a Configuration File:

    • Create a .bat file (text file with .bat extension).
    • Insert the appropriate command for your miner:

    Sample Commands:

    • Rigel:

      rigel.exe -a ethash --coin ethw -o stratum+tcp://ethw.kryptex.network:7034 -u WALLET_ADDRESS/WORKER_NAME
    • Phoenix Miner:

      PhoenixMiner.exe -coin eth -pool ethw.kryptex.network:7034 -wal WALLET_ADDRESS/WORKER_NAME
    • GMiner:

      miner.exe --algo ethash --server ethw.kryptex.network:7034 --user WALLET_ADDRESS/WORKER_NAME
    • T-Rex:

      t-rex.exe -a ethash -o stratum+tcp://ethw.kryptex.network:7034 -u WALLET_ADDRESS/WORKER_NAME
    • NBMiner:

      nbminer.exe -a ethash -o stratum+tcp://ethw.kryptex.network:7034 -u WALLET_ADDRESS/WORKER_NAME
    • LolMiner:

      lolMiner.exe --algo ETHASH --pool ethw.kryptex.network:7034 --user WALLET_ADDRESS/WORKER_NAME
    • TeamRed Miner:

      teamredminer.exe -a ethash -o stratum+tcp://ethw.kryptex.network:7034 -u WALLET_ADDRESS/WORKER_NAME
    • BzMiner:

      bzminer.exe -a ethw -p stratum+tcp://ethw.kryptex.network:7034 -w WALLET_ADDRESS.WORKER_NAME
    • SRBMiner-MULTI:

      SRBMiner-MULTI.exe --disable-cpu --algorithm ethash --pool ethw.kryptex.network:7034 --wallet WALLET_ADDRESS/WORKER_NAME --gpu-boost 3
  3. Launch:

    • Save the file and run it.

FAQ

Q1: How do I choose the best miner software?
A1: Consider compatibility with your hardware (GPU/ASIC) and features like fee structure or power efficiency.

Q2: Why is my miner not connecting to the pool?
A2: Verify your wallet address, worker name, and pool/port settings. Firewall restrictions may also block connections.

Q3: What’s the difference between TCP and SSL ports?
A3: SSL encrypts data for enhanced security, while TCP offers slightly lower latency.
