Mobile Wallet Compatibility
👉 Can I use mobile wallets for CAKE cross-chain transfers? Currently, CAKE cross-chain transfers only support Coinbase Wallet and MetaMask (including any MetaMask-compatible wallets). Support for additional wallets is planned for future updates.
To minimize security risks, we recommend creating a new dedicated wallet through desktop extensions specifically for cross-chain transactions.
Transaction Errors
If you encounter errors when submitting cross-chain transactions:
- Manually enter the amount instead of clicking "MAX"
- Remove decimal points from the transfer amount
Gas Fee Issues
When seeing "not enough native for gas" errors:
Gas fees are paid using the source chain's native currency:
- BNB Chain: BNB
- Ethereum: ETH
- Aptos: APT
- Ensure your source wallet contains sufficient native tokens
- Optionally disable "gas on destination" if target address already has funds
Address Restrictions
For EVM-to-EVM transfers:
- Identical addresses must be used for source and destination chains
- Address changes between BNB Chain and Ethereum are not permitted
Transfer Limits
Daily capacity limits exist for CAKE transfers between:
- BSC and Aptos
If seeing "X CAKE Exceeded": - Reduce transfer amount
- Try again later
Chefs dynamically adjust these limits based on network demand.
Pending Transactions
Typical processing time: 30 minutes
Check status via LayerZero scan
If pending beyond 60 minutes:
Contact admins through our official channels
Missing Funds
For delayed CAKE receipts:
- Aptos first-time transfers require manual claiming
Ensure destination wallet has:
- "Gas on destination" enabled OR
- Sufficient APT for gas fees
- BSC transfers may require manual token address addition to wallets
Minimum Transfer Amounts
Technical limitations:
- Aptos supports maximum 8 decimal places
- Transfers < 0.00000001 CAKE are rejected
- Amounts beyond 8 decimals are rounded down
- Remainders stay in source wallets
