Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Direct and lead the Internal Audit department, aligning audit strategies with organizational objectives and professional standards.
- Risk Management: Assess risks and develop frameworks to safeguard business operations.
- Governance Improvement: Evaluate and enhance internal governance processes.
- Audit Reporting: Present detailed reports to senior management and the Board, highlighting findings, recommendations, and action plans.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on cryptocurrency/blockchain regulations and ensure audit processes address emerging risks.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Computer Science, or related fields; advanced degrees/certifications (CPA, CIA, CISA, CISSP) preferred.
Experience:
- Supervisory/managerial audit roles in crypto, fintech, or financial services.
- Broad exposure to IT, finance, operations, and compliance audits.
- Proficiency in audit tools (e.g., Workiva) and data analysis.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
