Updating Your Phone Number While Logged In
Via the OKX Mobile App
- Open the OKX app and navigate to the User Center.
- Select Profile & Settings, then go to Security.
- Under Authentication Methods, choose Phone.
- Click Change Phone Number and enter your new number.
- Request verification codes for both your new and current numbers via SMS.
- Enter both 6-digit verification codes when received.
- Complete the process with your two-factor authentication (2FA) code.
Note: If verification fails, select Can't Verify at the bottom of the page.
On the OKX Website
- Go to Profile in your account dashboard.
- Locate Phone Authentication in security settings.
- Select your country code and enter the new phone number.
- Request SMS verification codes for both numbers.
- Input the received codes and confirm with your 2FA code.
Confirmation will be sent via email/SMS upon successful update.

If You Can't Access Your Account
To reset your phone number:
- Use the two-step verification page to remove the current number, or
- Contact OKX customer support for assistance
Important Restrictions:
- No withdrawals allowed within 24 hours after phone number changes
- P2P crypto selling disabled for 24 hours post-update
